Ian & Miranda’s Wedding

Ian & Miranda’s wedding day at the Art Factory in Paterson, NJ is one I will never forget!

On September 8th, 2022, I took the drive out to Paterson, NJ for Ian & Miranda’s wedding day. They had their wedding at The Art Factory Studios in Paterson, NJ. As soon as I walked into the venue, I knew how incredible it was going to be. Ian gave us a quick tour of the multiple levels of the venue and I was blown away. It is quite literally a photographer’s dream!

The day started with getting ready photos in the bridal suite, which had huge windows that allowed for gorgeous natural light. Miranda and her bridesmaids were all so sweet and welcoming. Before the ceremony started, her girls surrounded her and prayed for her and it was such a sweet moment. The ceremony was beautiful and a testament to who Ian & Miranda are as a couple. It was so sweet to see all of their friends and family that came out to support them.
While cocktail hour was happening, we took all of the family and bridal party photos, followed by photos of the couple. Ian & Miranda were absolute naturals in front of the camera and you could truly see how much they loved each other. They’re also so much fun and it was just like hanging out with friends.

At this point, it was time for the reception. After some epic entrances by the bridal party, Ian & Miranda had their first dance. I always get a little teary-eyed during these! As soon as the guests joined them and the DJ turned up the volume, the dance floor came alive. Their wedding guests certainly weren’t shy and busted out some epic dance moves. I couldn’t help but dance along as I took photos.

At one point during the reception, we were able to sneak away with Ian & Miranda to get some more portraits of them. We found a really cool room with hanging light bulbs and then a hallway filled with string lights everywhere. We knew we had to take them here for some portraits…and boy was I glad that we did! We were so grateful that they were willing to step away from the reception for a bit.

Not only was the entire day amazing, but they also had Texas Roadhouse cater the food. There is nothing better than some good comfort food (especially their famous rolls with cinnamon butter).

Overall, it was an incredible day with the sweetest couple. I honestly didn’t even feel like I was working and that’s what I love about this job. The photos from their wedding are some of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken!
